Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how UffDeli ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the UffDeli mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Apple ID identifiers — when you Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier.
- Email address — provided by Apple at sign-in (real or relay address, depending on your choice).
- Name — first name provided at sign-in, used to personalize the App.
- Device identifier — an anonymous device ID used to associate your session with your account.
- Search queries — text you enter when searching for restaurants, used to generate AI recommendations.
- Favorites — restaurants you save to your favorites list.
- Reviews — content you submit when reviewing restaurants.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core App experience: restaurant discovery, AI recommendations, favorites, reviews, and account management.
- To process subscription payments (Uff Gold).
- To send you transactional emails (e.g. account confirmations, payment receipts).
- To improve the quality of recommendations and address bugs.
3. Third-Party Services
UffDeli relies on the following processors. Each handles a limited slice of data necessary to provide its function:
- Apple (Sign in with Apple) — authentication.
- Supabase — database and authentication backend; stores your account, favorites, and reviews.
- OpenAI — processes your search queries to generate restaurant recommendations. Queries are sent without personal identifiers.
- Whop — processes subscription payments for Uff Gold.
- Resend — sends transactional email.
- Vercel — hosts our backend API.
4. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.
- We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hola@uffdeli.com from the email address linked to your account. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
UffDeli is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hola@uffdeli.com.
9. Governing Law
UffDeli operates from Mexico. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, LFPDPPP) and its regulations.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be released alongside the next App version. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
